What is WinTabber ?

WinTabber is specially made for applications that lack tab support, like PuTTY, Console and terminal apps. It's a container for the apps and allows tab support, with some extra features. This table describes the features supported. Once using this tool it seems as if PuTTY and other apps have tab support, but it's actually a container that holds the windows until you close or release them back to the desktop. PuTTY Session and duplication is fully integrated ... the power of PuTTY, with the ease of tabs, colors and keybindings! The latest release version of PuTTY beta 0.60 (Telnet and SSH client) is included in the installer. Most other apps are supported as well!

What is PuTTY and where can I get it ?

PuTTY is a free implementation of Telnet and SSH for Win32 and Unix platforms, along with an xterm terminal emulator. It is written and maintained primarily by Simon Tatham. The combination of WinTabber and PuTTY creates a Telnet and SSH client with tabs for each session, colors and keybindings!
The latest version is beta 0.60 and is included in the WinTabber installer.
